At MamaBabyBliss, our mission is to support women through pregnancy, birth and motherhood and to ensure their babies have the very best start in life.
My own journey started with the birth of my first daughter Natasha. Having had a blooming pregnancy and a very blasé attitude to birth, I was totally unprepared for what was to come. I won’t go into too much detail here (you can read more about my personal story in my blog post), but it’s suffice to say that after a very traumatic birth, I felt shell-shocked and like I had been hit by a truck on the inside. I was unable to breastfeed and when Tash was four months old, I was diagnosed with postnatal depression.
Fast forward to my second child, Alana. I was made redundant when she was just over a-year-old. Having never forgotten my own experience of becoming a mother, I wanted to do something that would help women and prevent them from having the same experience I had. So in 2007, MamaBabyBliss was born.
Having started with only me running small pregnancy, mother and baby classes and treatments in North London, today I am joined by a wonderful network of MamaBabyBliss Teachers who are equally passionate about supporting parents in their communities.
In 2014 championed by my fellow teacher and MamaBabyBliss Training Director Vanessa Taylor, we also began training staff of the NHS. We are so proud to be able to support the NHS which is why for every product sold, we are donating £1 to the NHS Charities Together COVID-19 Appeal.
Today we only company in the world to offer products, classes, treatments and training dedicated to pregnancy, mothers and babies. You can find out more about everything we do here.
We hope you enjoy our products and do check out our blog for a variety of tips to support you and your baby’s wellbeing and nurture you on your journey!
